- Breeds classified as potentially dangerous are: Pit Bull Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Rottweiler, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasileiro, Tosa Inu, Akita Inu, and those that exhibit all or most of the following characteristics:
- Strong musculature, powerful appearance, robust, athletic build, agility, vigor, and endurance.
- Marked character and great courage
- Short coat
- Chest circumference between 60 and 80 centimeters, height at withers between 50 and 70 centimeters, and weight over 20 kg.
- Voluminous, cuboid, robust head with broad, large skull and muscular, bulging cheeks.
- Large, strong jaws, robust, wide, and deep mouth.
- Wide, muscular, and short neck.
- Massive, wide, large, deep chest, arched ribs, and muscular, short loin.
- Parallel, straight, and robust front limbs and very muscular hind limbs, with relatively long legs forming a moderate angle.
- Breeds classified as Potentially Dangerous Dogs (PPP) must, as established by law (Regarding the legal regime for the ownership of potentially dangerous animals, we apply Royal Decree 287/2002, of March 22, which develops Law 50/1999 of December 23), be accompanied by an adult with suitable aptitude to exercise necessary control in each case, on a leash of less than two meters in length and non-extendable that allows control over the animal at all times, as well as an approved muzzle appropriate for its breed, which prevents the opening of the jaw to bite. Likewise, the center’s Security personnel may require you to show the pertinent license.
