ALOHA INCLUSIVITY!

We adapt so we can all enjoy
the Oasis together

At L’Aljub, we want everyone to enjoy our Oasis together, including those with sensory hypersensitivity and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). That is why we are implementing different initiatives to ensure their visit is as pleasant as that of all other visitors.

ADAPTED SCREENINGS

Our ABC cinemas are joining a pioneering initiative in the province, becoming the first theaters to offer an adapted experience for people with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).

Schedule of morning screenings for people with ASD

  • Sunday, February 22
  • Sunday, March 29
  • Sunday, April 26
  • Sunday, May 31
  • Sunday, June 28
  • Sunday, July 26
  • Sunday, August 30
  • Sunday, September 27
  • Sunday, October 25
  • Sunday, November 29

Thanks to our collaboration with AITEAL (Elche Association for Autism Spectrum and Language Disorders), we have created special cinema screenings designed to enjoy movies in an inclusive and respectful way.

On the last Sunday of each month, from February to November, during the morning screening, you can enjoy a cinema experience with adjusted lighting, modified sound, and freedom of movement.

AN OASIS FOR EVERYONE

Hâmau Hour

From 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, we reduce the intensity of the lights and turn off the background music so that everyone can enjoy your Oasis in a calm environment.

ADAPTED DIRECTORY

This directory has a special design, in which stores, restaurants, and shops that adapt lighting, sound, and signage during Hâmau Hour are marked.

QUIET ROUTE

We have created the Maluhia Route. This is a quiet itinerary that avoids areas with more noise or lights, indicating preferred access points and marking areas to avoid.

CALM CORNER

We have set up a quiet space where you can relax when needed. This is the Calm Corner and is located in the nursing room in the fashion corridor, between entrances 4 and 5.

NOISE-CANCELING HEADPHONES

We offer noise-canceling headphones for use during your visit. You can request them at the information desk by presenting the center's app.

SIGNAGE

We have incorporated signage, especially in restrooms, with inclusive pictograms. In addition, all our signage follows EU standards and is accompanied by icons.
